About Coach Her
Building stronger pathways for women coaches
Coach Her supports football coaches, particularly women, with education, practical tools and peer networks, while working on the structures that shape who gets to build a sustainable coaching career and progress into leadership.
Our ambition is simple: more women leading football. For Coach Her, that starts with coaching.

The coaching gap is still wide
Women’s football has grown rapidly, but coaching pathways and leadership have not kept pace. These numbers show the scale of the gap in Sweden — and why stronger pathways for women coaches matter.
More than representation
Coach Her focuses not only on how many women coach, but on the conditions that decide whether women can enter coaching, build sustainable careers and move into positions of influence.
Skills, a network and a stronger pathway.
Coaches deserve the opportunity to develop, build sustainable careers and progress into leadership. Coach Her combines professional development with peer support and practical tools for navigating the realities of the football environment.
A more balanced game is a better game.
Coach Her starts from a simple conviction: a more balanced game is a better game. Drawing from the whole coaching talent pool, creating safer environments and building structures that develop and retain coaches are all part of making football stronger over time.
More women leading. More girls seeing a future.
When women are visible as coaches and leaders, girls can see more possible futures in football. Representation is part of creating a game where girls can stay, develop and imagine themselves leading too.

Built for coaches. Designed to change systems.
Coach Her starts with the coach, but it does not stop there. Individual development can only go so far if the surrounding structures make it harder for women to enter, stay and progress in coaching.
That is why Coach Her works at both levels: helping coaches strengthen their practice, leadership and network, while giving them the language and tools to recognise barriers and influence the clubs and organisations around them.
Women are at the centre of the project. Men are part of it too, because gender equity in coaching is a shared responsibility.
Learn. Apply. Connect. Lead.
Coach Her combines learning, practice, peer exchange and leadership development so that ideas can move from the programme into everyday football.

Inside the Coach Her approach
The first Coach Her programme is organised around four connected learning areas, moving from understanding the wider system to applying better coaching practice and leading change.
