More women leading football

A training programme for women football coaches — and for the game they're set to change. Through 2026, we're equipping a new generation of coaches with real skills, a real network, and the confidence to lead.

What is your vision for yourself?

I want to work in elite football for many years to come. I want to keep building experience and go as far as I can. On that journey, I want to make sure the players I coach enjoy football. If they don’t have fun, it will be hard to create development and results.

On inspirations to become a coach

I’m fueled by people who say it can’t be done. I’m often met with questions like, «Don’t you want to spend more time with your child?» or «Isn't coaching a short-term career – especially for women?» That only motivates me more. I want to prove that it’s possible. That being a woman, a mother, and a coach isn’t a contradiction.

Who or what inspired you to become a coach?

When I was 16, I had two female coaches, Therese Lückner and Lisa Mellberg. They showed me that there was a different kind of career path within football. I’ve always had a passion for helping others develop and I realized early on that I enjoyed analyzing the game and following other players’ progress.
