Coach Her brings coaches together in Stockholm

On 1 and 2 September, Coach Her brought coaches together in Stockholm for two intensive days of learning, discussion and practical work both on and off the pitch.

The group explored how coaching environments can become more gender-equitable, inclusive and performance-focused, and what that means in everyday coaching practice.

A huge thank you to every coach who took part and brought so much energy, experience, curiosity and openness. You made these days what they were!

Women’s football is growing. But the number of women building long-term careers as coaches and progressing into positions of influence within the game has not kept pace.

But the training does not end here. The coaches now continue the Coach Her programme online, building on the work from Stockholm through the digital learning modules.

Later this year, we’ll be back in Stockholm for the Coach Her conference. A chance to share what we have learned, open the conversation to more people across football, and look at what needs to happen next.

Between now and then, we will keep sharing voices, ideas and lessons from the coaches and the project.
